I really, really love this. I received this "motto" via email several years ago and I thought, "That is so me!" I'm probably one of the few people in my family who adopt this as their life's motto. My family (friends included) is pretty much a conservative lot and that is ok. They are great and I love them. They like to give me advice too. I always listen and appreciate, but I usually don't apply what they say; I can't help it. They are money savers; I'm not. They balance their checkbooks; I don't. They use their time wisely; I don't. They rarely take vacation from work; I take mine as soon as I earn it. They never call in sick; I do. They watch what they eat and drink; I don't. That being said . . . I never have any money, I'm always "in the hole" come payday, my house is not clean but I have a tan and know lots about TV stars, I can only take vacation days 1 or 2 at a time, and I'm fat. All in all though, I think I have a pretty good life. I get down in the dumps sometimes but we all do. I don't have a lot of frills but my needs are met. I think at the end of my life I can say that I lived full, loved much, and laughed often. That sounds like a delightful life for me.
