The Gobloots Are Gone ~

Anyone out there a real Lucy fan? If you are then I hope you will remember the I Love Lucy episode where Lucy was faking an illness, and when Ricky found out that she was faking, he got a real doctor friend to come over and examine Lucy and he determined that she had the Gobloots. It comes into the country on the hind legs of the Boo-Shoo bird!

Well, I have had the Gobloots. I have been so sick since last Sunday afternoon with the Flu and Strep together. It was so awful and I had to stay home from work all last week. I could barely drag myself out of bed. I finally made it to the doctor by Wednesday morning and found out that I would live after all. I really don't think I've ever been that sick in my life before. I went back to work today and I must say I feel really great! It was so nice to be clean, made up, and out of sweats for a change today.
That is what I've been up to for the last week but I'm back. See you tomorrow!
Love,
Denise

Both of my boys have had the Gobloots too.;) Daniel is better, but Matthew is still miserable.:(
Maybe I should give him some Vitameatavegimen, so he doesn't pop out at parties....And as you know, being sick makes one quite unpoopular.;)LOL!:)

What a bummer!! I'm glad you are feeling better. Thankfully the Gobloots have not hit our house. :)

I remember, Ricky put the green lightbulb in the lamp so she thought she was dying and the band came in to play for her a quiet song and it was loud and booming!

I Love Lucy and I am glad you are feeling better.

Denise, that was always one of my FAVORITE Lucy episodes too!
John and Johnny have both had it - Johnny had the stomach part but John was basically achy and nauseous. I took the flu shot but don't know if that would keep me from getting it - I've been going around with the can of Lysol spraying the door knobs, toilet, etc.! Glad you are feeling better! Love you!
Sandra :)
