The Boob Tube is Back ~

After 4 months, I finally have television again!!!! My Direct TV has be reinstated and I'm back "in the know". I don't have a radio in my truck, and not having TV or Internet at home, I just felt like I was in a hole. If it hadn't been for conversation with others, I wouldn't even know who the new president was :) It has been tough but fortunately for me, I've collected lots, and lots, and lots, and lots, and lots of movies and they have kept Brandon and me company during these last few months. All this time, I thought I owed some money to Direct TV, and I just have no extra money so I put it off and put it off. Last payday I decided I was gonna get it straightened out and get some TV going again. To my delight, I did not owe any money and they set me up for a technician to come out yesterday and get me hooked up. Someone was supposed to come between 8 and 12. He was late but I didn't care - yesterday, that man was my favorite person in the whole world and I really wanted to french-kiss him but I refrained (to his delight, I'm sure).

Since 3:30 yesterday afternoon, I've learned all about Adolf Hitler's manager, Albert Speer, who was an architect and built the concentration camps and used slave labor in rock quarries to get a certain kind of rock to build with and how he was actually a very close, best friend to Hitler (he didn't have many of those) - very interesting. He only received a 20 year prison sentence and was responsible for thousands of deaths. I also found out a little history on witches. Did you know they started out pretty and through the ages ended up as hags? Go figure! I watched some Family Guy, some Scrubs, and finally, what I'd been waiting for all day . . . . . . . Nip/Tuck. I will admit that Nip/Tuck is probably one of the most vile shows on TV these days but I am absolutely hooked. It's like a train wreck - I gotta watch! By the by . . . when did David Letterman switch channels? This morning, I was able to find out all about the beautiful snow we were having and that Brandon was getting a snow day today. I got an update on the Octuplets that were born in California a few days ago - they are all still alive and doing well - praise the Lord.

I'm a happy girl and loving me some TV once again. What's your favorite show?

Love,
Denise
